In addition to the software and documentation described in the AppleTalk Wide Area Developer's Toolkit binder, the floppy disk for this toolkit contains the AppleTalk Update-based Routing Protocol (AURP) Management Information Base (MIB). Two versions of the MIB are included:
• The file "AURP MIB (Word)" is a Microsoft Word version of a working draft of the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) Request for Comments (RFC).
• The file "AURP MIB (compilable)" is a compilable version of the MIB, presented as a TEXT format file so that it can be easily uploaded to your console.
IMPORTANT: Macintosh TEXT files contain only CR (carriage return) control characters between lines. Some SNMP consoles require CR LF (carriage return and line feed) formatting.
NOTE: The size of the TEXT file prevents it from being opened by TeachText. To open the file, use a word processor or an application that includes a text editor.
